GARY NOVASEL - Principal of PATDO LIGHT STUDIO. Gary has been a Lighting Designer since 1985. Mr. Novasel’s award winning work has been featured in many National magazines including: Architectural Record, Architectural Digest, Metropolitan Home, Interiors, Interior Design, To The Trade, Connecticut Cottages and Gardens, The Modern Estate, The New York Times, House Beautiful, Colonial Homes and Gardens, Better Homes and Gardens and Hospitality Design.
Gary is also a contributing editor to “The Modern Estate” magazine and teaches Landcape Lighting at the New York Botanical Garden. He has also taught Architectural Lighting at Parson’s School of Design and the University of Bridgeport. Mr. Novasel has been a guest on radio and television shows and has been a guest lecturer for: the Connecticut and New York chapters of the ASID, UCONN’s Bartlett Arboretum, the New York City chapter of the DLF and the International Furnishings Association. KALYNN AMADIO - Senior Designer. Kalynn has a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas, 1987, where she concentrated in electrical systems and lighting design. Ms. Amadio worked for New York City engineering firms where she developed corporate and commercial interior lighting designs and custom fixture designs for numerous clients. Amongst other projects, Kalynn was the lighting designer for the expansion of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown, NY. Additionally, she created campus site lighting designs for various clients including Hyperion Software, Martha Stewart, GE and IBM.
Kalynn also spent three years with the Zumtobel lighting corporation where she was involved in production scheduling and custom engineering of new and existing products. She also attended Lightfair around the U.S. as part of the sales department. Kalynn wrote and designed marketing brochures for new product as they were launched into the U.S. market. JASON L. BISCEGLIA - Lighting Designer. Jason is the lead designer of the Landscape Lighting Division here at Patdo Light Studio. Jason graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2003 with a BFA in Design. Not only is he a lighting designer here at Patdo Light Studio, but he is also a practicing Artist using various mixed media methods, such as painting, pencil and ink, sculpture, photography, digital media, graphic design & website design. He has displayed several works of Art in the Weatherspoon Art Gallery in Greensboro, NC.
Jason comes from a design background, however, he has several years experience in sales and marketing. He has designed, travelled and set up several tradeshows all over the United States such as STAFDA, WOC, and AWCI. He also has experience in point of purchase design, internet marketing strategies as well as creating promotional products, print work and events for world wide companies.
